Concours d' Elegance at Pebble Beach and Big Sur

Today is the last day before heading off with minitakesthestates beginning with a bonfire on Monterey Beach and then on to Santa Barbara and day one of Minitakesthestates.
Didn't drive the GP today as the family traveled to Pebble Beach and the Concours d' Elegance on the 18th hole of the Pebble Beach Golf Club. After a short ride to the transportation stop we visited the Concours and then saw the classic and concept cars and people watched. We were told that Jay Leno and George Lucas were seen. We don't know since we did not see them. We did see two suited persons with guest badges hovering over a person with ear piece communications. There were ladies with designer hats and men in straw and Panama hats and there were those in shorts and no hats. The cars and the views were spectacular.
After the Concours we headed to Big Sur for lunch at the Post Ranch Inn. The food was great and the views looking at the Pacific were breathtaking!
D and T are leaving early to return to San Jose for the journey back to Flagler Country while we begin the next part of our journey driving cross country in the new Mini Cooper S JCW GP.
