St. Helena, Calistoga and Environs

Today was our last day before heading to Monterey and the new Mini! But what a great day! It started out with a disappointment that we were not going to be able to visit Ric Forman's winery. No worry because Margaret is still going to let us get some fabulous wine. Anyway we went to Calistoga and spent some more time in St. Helena before going back to the great Meadowood resort for some R and R. Drinking great wines is really tough work!
We had a late lunch at Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen. Pablo, Phil and Emmy made our experience just great.

We went to dinner at the fantastic Terra restaurant where Chef Ron and his staff also gave us a terrific dining experience. Jackie opted out the photo op but was a terrific server!

Great food.Great wine and now back to reality tomorrow as we head to Laguna. (maybe a small diversion to a couple more wineries for tastings in route !! )
