Garmin Nuvi and Getting Ready

Two weeks to go before traveling cross-country to begin cross-country return. After receiving the new Garmin Nuvi 360 tried it out in Cayo Hueso (Key West). Instead of having the Mini here I am driving the Captain Outrageous Demotivational Seminar Van. It is not designed for cross-country unless you consider Stock Island the country. Anyway with Lobster Mini season just completed it is now back to final preparation for the Minimania in California and beyond. The Nuvi seemed to work great but couldn't locate our home. Anyway it was better than most tourists directions in Paradise.

You are clearly pumped over this, Rick, understandably so. We'll all be watching as you blog your way back across the USA in the new Mini. It'll be an education for me. The last Austin I wanted was the Healey 3000, when I was just a stripling youth.

I'm going through the MiniTakestheStates.com site right now. What a blast, over 3000 participants!

Maybe you could get them to detour through KW? Nah, probably not.

If I don't see you before you leave, remember, the trip is its own reward.
