On to Napa

We had an unexpected breakfast with Carl Wells, an old high school friend who lives in San Francisco. On the walk to breakfast we had an early morning diversion at the farmers market on Embarcadero where we tasted the fresh fruit. After leaving Carl we headed to the apple festival in Sebastopol that Tina was anxious about missing due to our scheduled tasting at Phelps in the early afternoon. No worry. I was practicing my driving skills in preparation for Laguna. After the Gravenstein Festival it was on to Napa. First stop in Napa was Phelps winery. Rob had great rooms for us at Meadowood.
