Monterey Reception at President's House

A special guest at the Mini mixer and dinner was Mike Cooper and his wife of the famous Cooper family who are being honored at the Historic Race on Saturday when we drive in the parade lap. Tomorrow thirty-two new Mini owners (all except one was at the special dinner and reception) will claim their vehicle at Laguna-Seca at a special presentation. We learned that the car numbers that are on the door of the vehicle and inside on the dash were randomly drawn world-wide.

When we returned to our room a special gift of Mini hats and a book entitled Mini concepts of the Future were on our bed. Soon it will be time to go motoring!!! Twelve hours and thirty seconds to countdown to Mini!!
