Viva Las Vegas

After leaving Santa Barbara this morning we headed to Barstow via the 101. Missed the turnoff and drove the GP through LA traffic. The GP held its own with the SUV's and rush hour traffic. Because of the car pool lane we picked up time on I-15 and made it to the first pit stop early. We were the first GP to arrive and appreciated the Southern California mini club hospitality.
Although we looked for a vegetarian restaurant my wife now known as "Eve" suggested we use the In and Out coupons. So it was the first burger I have had in seven weeks. Stephan agreed to have his picture taken and is in the blog. Thanks Stephan!!
One of the other pit stops was at Primm where some of the Mini travelers went on the Desperado, the fastest roller coaster in the West at Buffalo Bill's casino. After crossing the Mojave desert we are now in Las Vegas and heading to the House of Blues tonight. The outside temperature was 110 and no sign of cooling.
